Project Description

Project resources

Dbf files have a byte to set the code page, but very often, this byte is not set or unused by readers. This extension modifies some files from gvSIG official distribution to allow:

1.- Reading dbf files taking care of this code page byte.

2.- Adding a menu to gvSIG to set the encoding.

In this release, the user must know in which encoding are their dbf files, and the files are changed (written permission is needed).
