There are users contribution to CRS catalogue with definition of references systems that are not included a the EPSG/ESRI/IAU2000 databases.

ReleasesFirst of all be sure that your CRS is not included at any of the databases that exist in gvSIG.
To add here a new CRS send a mail to the users list <gvsig_internacional@runas.cap.gva.es>, or to the contact address, titled "New CRS" with, at least, the following information:
--Name: (in the case it's an official CRS, put the official name)
--Country - Region:
--Kind of Coordinates: ( geographical - projected)
--Comments:
--Sent by:
--WKT:

An example of WKT:
GEOGCS["GCS_WGS_1984",DATUM["D_WGS_1984",SPHEROID["WGS_1984",6378137.0,298.257223563]],PRIMEM["Greenwich",0.0],UNIT["Degree",0.0174532925199433]]
The files *.prj use WKT chains to define the CRS.
To restore any CRS to your gvSIG, copy the WKT chain and create a new user CRS.
