You are here: Home Production Proyectos Testing Documentos de trabajo Procedimientos de testeo de gvSIG Información relevante 10 steps to execute testing on Salomé

- The first window we encounter when opening Salome will let us choose the Project we'll be working on and identify ourselves.

- Go to the "Gestion de Suites"/"Manage campaigns" tab and there, filtering by "My assigned" with the radio button on the down-left side of the page we select our name.

- On the right side of the window, we select the executions tab and we'll see the test execution assigned to us. We select it (with the check) and then click on the button execute.

- It appears a window asking us if we want to execute our tests. we select the check again and accept/launch. Then it appears a warning message telling us that the test is created and that we have to select it and press resume to start it. We accept.

- We select the test and press resume as we've been asked. Then another window asks us if we want to execute the tests without result or all the tests assigned to us. This is helpful if we have already passed part of them on another session. If it's the first time choose "execute my assigned tests" and execute.

- The tests get loaded and we're now on another window. Here we can see the different actions of the test we're passing. There are three more windows, one describing the actions to do, one with the expected result and one with the real result. On the one with the expected result the developer may have added a comentary and in the last one the tester may add his/her comentarys. There are in the upper part of the window some important buttons: on the left the succes/Failure/Inconclusion buttons. We have to use them to qualify each of the actions. Once we click on succes for exemple if the action was succesful we pass automatically to the next action.

- When we finish the last action of the test Salomé will automatically jump to the next test assigned.

- If we want to change to the next test without finishing the one we're in we have to use the buttons on the upper-right side of the window.

- If we want to finish the testing session, on the upper-right side of the window, we press Finish and we'll go to the previous window. We can finish whenever we want, the system saves the tests already executed and we can continue with the ones not executed when we enter again.

- Here, to exit Salomé, we click on Quit, on the left-down side of the window.
