SEXTANTE is a Geographical Information System that has been developed by the Regional Government of Extremadura (Spain). It has provided gvSIG with both raster and vector geographical analysis capabilities with over 150 extensions, geo-statistics, vegetation indexes, profiles and hydrological analysis, to name but a few of the implemented functions.
